Full Moon in Pisces: I Dream, Therefore I Am

Friday the 13th doesn't always coincide with a full moon, but when it does...

People freak. 😂

Although there are some pretttttty challenging aspects surrounding this moon, rest assured that we also have Pluto, the planet of transformation, lighting up our feels for reals (in a hurts-so-good way). Meanwhile the sun and a few of his buddies are hanging out in Virgo and kicking our asses into high gear.

This is like a pure and honest cleansing of anything that's holding us back from feeling secure enough to dream all the dreams. Remember - a strong foundation is needed before we can let our heads drift to the clouds. Thankfully, Capricorn is BRINGING IT.

Read on for a full interpretation...

New Moon in Aquarius

The Deets:

  • Date: 9/13/2019

  • Time: 9:32 pst

  • Degree: 21° Pisces

The Main Aspects:

  • Moon in Pisces opposite Sun in Virgo (I dream, therefore I am)

  • Moon conjunct Neptune in Pisces (deep illusions)

  • Sun conjunct Mars in Virgo (overly committed)

  • Venus conjunct Mercury in Virgo (practical desires)

  • Jupiter square Moon and Neptune (curb your enthusiasm)

  • Pluto sextile Moon and Neptune (dissolving the illusion)

  • Pluto trine Sun and Mars (energy overhaul)

  • Saturn conjunct South Node in Capricorn (familiar comforts)

  • Saturn opposite North Node (paving a new path)

The Numerology:

9/13/2019 = 16 = 7

The 7 is the perfect number to accompany us today, as its perfectionist tendencies match up with Virgo's detail-oriented vibes. On the flip side, the 7 also carries with it an air of mysticism, which goes nicely with this strong Pisces energy. This 7 is also composed of the 1 and the 6, which urges us to step up to the plate and embrace our independence while keeping our domestic responsibilities in mind. (Yes, you can have the best of both worlds).

As I always mention, I feel that the full moon period is a great time for pausing and pouring energy into your goals and expressing gratitude rather than letting go (the waning moon is great for that), but it's not a bad idea to make a list of who and what you are ready to release once the moon begins to lose light.

The Hidden Message:

The Chandra messages for this event are...

  • 21° Pisces (what we're moving away from): Pagan fire worshippers dancing. Trance states. At home in psychic realms and other realities. The self abandoned to the tribe--to the sweep of the moment, to the energies that arise. On fire with longing and poignant, bittersweet reflections. A throwback, a native, a primal soul. Emotional, depths-centered, superphysical, you are energized tremendously by special occasions, extraordinary meetings, unexpected miracles and tragedies. Expectant and waiting for something wild and unknown to break through. Mediumistic, vicarious, and charged with a life-force that must be followed out. A certain distinctive fate to be at times disappearing and gone and at other times resurgent and mighty--all depend upon the tides of fortune. And it will always change in unpredictable, exciting, disorienting, and multiple ways.

  • 22° Pisces (what we're moving towards): A blacksmith creating an ornate garden gate. Hard substance is impossibly tough if you fall into letting it be that, but is the perfect basis if you are willing to make it so. All the resistances, crystallizations, dysfunction, and foundational dissonances are great excuses to stop or immense occasions to start. You get laid low if you do not know what to do with the stuff of this world. But if you have learned the subtle craft of world-making, you're best off meeting up against the hardest places and discovering how to turn them completely around--the exceedingly demanding guild of those who dig into the depths and draw forth beauty and infinite power from the brutal and heavy realities which otherwise seem impenetrable. A stubbornly hardworking, impossible-to-discourage craft of reworking the primal soil. Mostly unproductively, mostly learning how forever, paying your dues, never quite getting it right, until there comes a day when even the obdurate bends to the inner design--when the conviction is complete.

In my words:

What once was wild and free is being reined in. Freedom doesn't always lead to productivity, yet the very act of liberation has inspired us to want more for ourselves. It's time to take all of that wild energy and put it to good and practical use. Something a little more predictable than our untethered dreams. Give those insatiable dreams some weight and room to grow, or risk losing them altogether.

During this full moon, ask yourself...

WHAT do I want for myself (if I knew the sky was the limit)?

HOW can I form these lofty dreams into something real and tangible?

Love you to the moon,
